There was an exploration for the concept design with yarn and ink for the imagery for the box. The yarn has many beautiful textures and patterns as it’s crocheted together and the shapes the yarn makes when placed on the floor. The ink creates a dynamic contrast between light and dark of the ink blotches on the paper.
Pastel illustrations were chosen because of the vivid colors and the pastels’ texture as they are blended. The Awaken flavor is illustrated as a burst of bright energy with a red and yellow explosion, and the Prickly Pear Cactus flavor is shown as squiggles of green and red to represent cacti. The Refresh Mint flavor is an organic green and blue shape representing the calming properties of mint-flavored tea.
